Homefront

Homefront is an organization led by Christian wives, mothers, sisters, and other female relatives or friends. The purpose of Homefront is to provide education and support about Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Many of our loved ones’ who have been deployed don’t realize how significant the changes to them and their families are. Family members often blame themselves.

Homefront gives women a chance to talk about the changes in their loved ones and help them understand what might help their family as a whole. Many of those left at home through a deployment and transition home may believe they are alone. In fact, most family members don’t have any understanding about what their service-person has been through and what they are still experiencing. The groups help each one understand there are others who have or are experiencing the same behaviors and moods as you and your loved one are.

Homefront can deal with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) for the veteran and secondary PTSD that also affects family members. The groups help each one understand there are others who have or are experiencing the same behaviors and moods as you are.

If you have someone you love deployed or having issues readjusting since coming home get connected with a local group or contact Headquarters for assistance.
